2020英语二语法之——一般过去时

　　谓语动词的变化共有四种，即“三态一否”。其中，“三态”指时态、语态、情态，“一否”指否定。

　　一个简单句只能有一个谓语动词，但是谓语动词不一定是一个单词，有可能是几个单词组成的一个整体。

　　保持了“三态一否”完整性的整体才能作谓语

　　常态理解：表示过去发生的动作

　　I bought this computer three years ago.

　　一般过去时态的妙用

　　Was $ 57, now $ 38

　　San Francisco Was

　　Afghanistan: The Land that Was

　　时态的妙用

　　Harry: Sally Alright?

　　Sally:  Hi, Harry.

　　Harry: I thought it was you.

　　Sally:  It is. Huh…this is Marie.

　　(Marie is already on her way down stairs.)

　　Sally: Was Marie.

　　Harry: How are you?

　　Sally: Fine!

　　时态的严谨

　　A: Do you see the person with loose pants and long hair? Is it a boy or girl?

　　B: A girl. She is my daughter.

　　A: Oh, please forgive me. (我不知道)       you （是）      her mother.

　　B: No, I’m her father.

　　“我忘记了”

　　我忘记了这个单词的意思

　　I forget the meaning of the word.

　　我忘记把你的书带来

　　I forgot to bring your book.

　　基本用法一：过去发生的短暂动作或状态

　　I saw him in the library yesterday.

　　He was late for school this morning.

　　基本用法二： 过去发生的重复或延续活动

　　I slept for eight hours last night.

　　She lived in this town for three years.
